parsons scholarship Question.. Please help me..

I'm thinking to join parsons 2010 class as transfer student(preparing portfolio now) and I'm a intern for small design firm in Swiss. and I'm a foreigner.
Parsons is very expensive university I found but I really like their program.

I heard from my boss. His friend will join photography department junior class this summer and he gain 20,000 dollar scholarship per year(or semester), call international BFA scholarship. Yes, He is an international student. I asked around me no one knows this type of scholarship. Do you think I can get similar type of scholarship? I'm not sure this is really existing... I do not think my boss lying, but I couldn't find information.

Please let me know...

Thank you

BFA stands for Bachelor of Fine Arts. So it’s a scholarship for an international student who wants to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Parsons. Makes sense.

I assume he got the scholarship directly from the college. Parsons has a financial aid application form for international students. Why don’t you just apply for financial aid and see what happens?

hmm…why dont you just ask your boss’s friend…about the BFA scholarship n how to get it??? because i also want to know  coz i just graduate from university from Indonesia. n now i also am looking for a fashion scholarship…so,i emailed every fashion school i know n asked them whether they provide a scholarship or not. n one them is Parsons…n Parsons reply my email n said that all student are considered as merit-based scholarship…n so on

so now i’m looking for a Merit Scholarship, how to apply n how to get it…but i’m confused. n its hard to be found.

so…please anybody help me…if you know about how to get a scholarship to Parsons :)

Thanks alot :)

That definitely sounds like something offered OUTSIDE of the school. Check into it with the source you heard it from.

I got accepted into Parsons and was selected as a “Chase Scholar” and got a $8000 scholarship for my grades.
