Are you sure you had all components of your application submitted? In the admissions hub on your application checklist was everything checked? It says on their site, "Incomplete applications will be rolled forward to the January 15 regular decision deadline. In some cases, the Admission Committee may need to postpone a decision in order to review additional information. If the committee decides to postpone its decision on an application, that application will be reviewed again during the regular decision period. " @fghjkjhg42 do you think that’s what could have happened?
@M4eba3 hey! On my admissions hub everything is ticked off and I got an email saying I had submitted everything and my application was under review in November. The email I got today said they had reviewed my application and it has been deferred for final consideration in the regular decision period. I email them back and asked if they had reviewed it as of yet at all or if my transcripts not being processed until Nov 11th had meant it was technically incomplete and did not meet the deadline.
I’m a bit annoyed they were not processed until the 11th of November as they arrived via fed ex on the 20th of October and I spent $200 sending them via fed ex from Australia.
Anyway I’m crossing my fingers for FD being accepted! Thanks for all your help

I sent an email regarding the scholarships bc apparently I didn’t recieve one which sucks because I feel that I had an extremely strong portfolio and I was on high honor roll all the way throughout high school until I graduated. I have no idea if it has to do with the fact that I haven’t submitted my FASFA yet but I’m hoping that’s it bc it’s my dream school and any help paying for it would be great. Hopefully they reply in the next few days… @fghjkjhg42
@M4eba3 Got an email back. He said that my application was received and reviewed and that although one of my materials was a bit late it still met the deadline and it was fine. They just choose to postpone some decisions until the regular pool deadline… so I guess it is a positive that they didn’t reject me straight away. Thanks for your help! Hi, my daughter is thinking about Parsons for the summer intensive for Industrial Design. Was your experience a positive one? I applied for the regular decision deadline in January. Does anyone know when decisions come out for regular decision applicants?
@tootired2stuudy mid march. I was deferred from ea to regular decision and first was told no later than April 1 but when I pressed admissions to when the earliest may be it was mid March.
If it follows the same pattern as ea acceptances will come in waves for about a week, then rejections and waitlist.

However when you go to the Student Grades and Academic Profile sections is showing Spring 2021 but not Fall 2020. Just skips to Summer 2020 and below.
Anyone else seeing Spring 2021 at the top when you select another term?

@trudytrudy using My New School Portal not admission hub for this. I did a summer intensive so I have all those details but either way they should have sent them to you when you applied
