Parsons the School of Design Admission Results 2019 Fall

Hey guys my friend called. The decision letters will be sent out after the 15th of this month.

Hey guys I’ve been following this post for a while now and I just made account to update you guys haha. I tried the workaround to see the results three days ago but I didn’t see anything but my “myaccount” page just updated today with the congratulations ! ? So I just a heads up that there some people might be seeing the results today as well!!

@Claska congratulations!!! what major did you apply to?

My son applied EA to the BBA program in Strategic Design and Management and he also was able to see the “Admitted Student” tab and got the “Congratulations” message. Do you think it’s safe to assume he’s been accepted?

@chomama3 My daughter did the same—looks like our kids will be studying together! Looking back at last year’s thread, it does seem legit. Everyone who got the congratulations message on their tab did actually get in. Official EA decisions started going out on Dec. 15 last year and continued for the next few days; slightly before that, people with the tab were able to pay their fall tuition deposits if they wanted to. For current applicants, the deposit section hasn’t updated yet.

One small caveat is that there was an applicant on last year’s thread who got the admitted-students tab but wasn’t able to click on anything; turned out she had been waitlisted. But if you’re able to click through to do things like set up your payment info, you’re all set.

That’s a long wait!!

@isaf99 I applied for a BFA in Communication design though I think I want to change to something along the lines or marketing if possible…

I’m so nervous, I really don’t know what to expect!!! It looks like last year a lot of people got decisions on the 15th which was a Friday, and admission offices are closed(i think) on the weekends so maybe they will come out on Friday the 14th this year? good luck to everyone

OMGG I can see the “admitted student” page omggg pleas tell me this is real

Congrats! What major did you applied to? @wht1126

Thanks (don’t know if the trick is 100% true tho)! I applied to Communication Design  What about you?? @georgeforeveryoung

^

@wht1126 Fashion Design…nothing still

I had nothing on my my.newschool page until 12/10 morning, but updated to the admitted students page that night. I applied for Fashion Design and Im a international student from Korea!

Hey everyone! I’ve been following this forum for a while now and just decided to create a account. I just tried the trick again a few minutes ago and found the admitted students tab and saw that it’d let me pay my deposit so I think I might be in! I applied for Fashion Design ?

Keep checking you’re accounts! I checked mine from 6am 12/10 all the way until 11:30pm 12/10 and by chance I woke up and decided to check again and saw that they’d updated my account with the admitted students tab. I can’t wait to read and hear more good news from you all! ?

Hi, @ElloHello, congrats! My daughter has the admitted-students tab as well, for strategic design and management. Just wondering: Are you actually able to pay your deposit, or do you just have the link? When I click on the link, it says we have no balance to pay. On last year’s thread, it looked like the deposit became possible to pay about a day before the emails started going out.

Thank you @Vineyarder ! Tell her congrats as well! ? ?

Now to answer your question: The link is there and I can click on it for it to take me to the pay my deposit but they don’t have the deposit up as of yet for the Fall 2019 term and that probably won’t be open until after all of the acceptance letters are sent (they maybe sent them prior to sending out emails). I’m sure that it’ll be enabled sometime this week though! ?

Yep, seems just like last year. Will check it out on Thursday.

Once you get admitted, will they tell you your scholarship?

@lisaforlife8 Yes, I believe the students last year who got their official acceptances all found out about their merit awards at the same time. Those applying for financial aid had to wait a little longer for details of the full package, I think.
