part II and interview...

heyy. does anyone know if there are any instructions which come along with part 2 of the application (which they send 2 u aft receiving part 1) abt how get an alum interview? coz it's been 3 weeks since they sent the 2nd part to me but i haven't received it.. and the IR deadline's coming up.. help anyone?

IR interviews were required to be scheduled by November 15th...you might be too late...

I called the office and got the username/password that way. There's a link on Rice's webpage for interviews.

It should have arrived with part II in the mail.

oh no. i doubt part II will ever arrive in my mail. prob got lost somewhere.. any suggestions on what I should do? or how I could receive information etc which comes in tt envelope but is not available online?

I had the same problem of not receiving Part II in the mail, but luckily for me, this occurred back in September (I sent away Part I in late July). Since it's too late to schedule your ID interview, I would just call them and have them send Part II again, though I'm not sure it'll make it to your house by the deadline. However, the only really vital information that they send with Part II that would be applicable in your case are the barcodes, and those are simply to help them better organize everything. I believe it's fine if you send Part II without the barcodes. Hence, I would just get everything offline and mail it ASAP (though I would call the Office of Undergraduate Admissions just to make sure that they received your Part I).

ah! thanks a lot for your replies.. :)
just curious. would .. not having an alum interview be detrimental? i sent in part one kinda late i guess (it arrived on nov 1st). also, how would i know if they "accept" my statement of financial support?

they've extended the IR interview request to Dec. 1

okayy. anyone knows how i can schedule an interview if i havent received part 2 of the application? tried calling the admissions office on saturday morning but it seemed to be close. the deadline's coming right up.. so any idea what I can do now?
