Hi, is it easier to get into part-time programs like george washington's? Does anyone know of any law schools that favor athletes? Thanks

Part-time programs are usually easier to get into than full time programs. Why? Because the applicant pool for a full time program often consists of people from across the country. Part-time programs, however, typically appeal to those with jobs. People who already have jobs typically live near the law school; thus, the applicant pool is not as broad. There are some part-time programs located in big cities that have enough applicants to make the gap between full time and part time students insignificant. I have not heard of a "jock law school" but that is not to there isn't one.

William and Mary Law explicitly asks if you have played varsity sports.

That is the only application (out of about 20 that I filled out - sent in fewer than that) I saw which asked; however, some are very heavy on extracurriculars. Law school applicatoins will tell you a lot about what is important to the school.

Thanks for the information. IT HELPS
