part time student?

<p>is it bad to be a part time student for 2 quarters in a year out of 3? this is my third year at cc, and i've completed all my GE's, pre reqs and extra units. I'm just finishing up one last class this quarter and a few PE classes, so as a result I am part time (as i was this past fall quarter). I do have a few extracurricular such as volunteering, and am looking for a part-time job.</p>

<p>do employers or grad schools view this negatively?</p>

<p>It could be bad, I guess. They might think you’re getting lazy, maybe. But probably not if you’re being productive with your time off. It would be better if you were working. I would’ve taken additional classes, even if the units didn’t transfer.</p>
