Particular things to look out for on Math 2?

Hi, I just had a quick question. Are there any particular things to look out for on the MATH II subject test? Maybe things like linear regression, exponential regression, etc.? I heard that the official CB tests do not include such concepts but may throw them at you on the test?

So for the sake of preparation, are they any certain concepts that CB throws at you in the MATH II subject test?

Thank you in advance!

CB always throws the same topics with very few curve balls.

Things I can guarantee will show up:
-Asymptotes
-Logs/Exponents
-Special right triangles
-3d figures
-Conic Sections (either circles or ellipses)
-Arithmetic or Geometric sequences
-Trig (identities, unit circle, and trig function graphs)
-Probability
-Limits
-Positivity
-Transformations of Graphs

Possible Test Questions:
-Logic
-Proofs
-Patterns
-Symbol functions
-Matrices
-Synthetic Division
-Plane Geometry

Also:
Parametric equations (this came up when I took it)
Polar coodinates

I would have to disagree with ACT’s “guarantee”: I took the Math 2 test three times (cancelled twice when I wasn’t certain that I would get an 800), and conic sections (as well as positivity, whatever that may be) never showed up.

Matrices, polar coordinates, and parametrics are generally very rare but nonetheless worthy of a brief review.

For reference, I got an 800.
