<p>Hi, I’ve just gotten in to Barnard as a transfer student for next year, and I’m wondering how much intermingling there is with Barnard girls and Columbia boys, or boys in general. Is it the kind of thing where you never really see guys? Or do a lot of the girls have boyfriends?</p>

<p>Also, I’m wondering if Barnard girls go to Columbia frat parties, or feel like they can. Are there more options for partying than just going to a restaurant/club/bar? I mean, are there actual, real college-y parties to go to?</p>

<p>But yes you will definitely see boys and you can go to parties.</p>

<p>D went to many parties at C. And there are co-ed frats (oxymoron I know) with both Barnard and Columbia students.</p>

<p>Yes, do a search! We have answered these types of ?s many times before. But, in brief, I will say I feel very much a part of the Columbia community…have many friends in CC/SEAS…and go to parties there often. There are frat parties, but <10% of students are part of Greek Life; it is not a big presence on campus, but it’s certainly there if you want to seek it out, join a sorority, etc.</p>
