Parties on the Row

I rushed this week for a couple of frats, but realized that I would not have the time nor the money to join. But there were a couple of houses that I really liked and met some really cool people. So I was wondering if the parties and events that happen in the houses and on the row are only for pledges and brothers, or if anyone is allowed.
Thanks

Usually frat parties throughout the school year (after rush season) are basically for brothers and then any and all girls. However, if you are friends with guys in the house, they'll put you on the list and you can go to the parties. So, if you do have friends in the houses, you'll be fine.

If you bring women with you they'll usually let you in. That's what I've noticed after attending a couple of parties at one of my friend's frats.

yea, ur best bet is to make friends with someone who is in a frat, because they can let u in to the party. fight on!

"The Row" is overrated. I went to two different parties last night and they were both awesome, and I didn't have to worry about "brining a girl to get in." Besides, a lot of parties on the row suck anyhow because of the major LAPD crackdown. I mean helicopters are actually coming out to break up parties. It's a major target now.

It didn't used to be overrated. How depressing.

That explains all the chopper sounds I heard last night. I thought some escaped convict was around campus! :o

That sucks about the parties being overrated. But there should be some sick post-game parties going on tonight! Anyone want to go crash some parties? J/K

I think it depends on what parties you go to...I've been to the Row on party nights only 4 times now because I'm a freshman who's planning on rushing second semester, but some were lame as hell and some were insane. Just last Thursday there was an Around The World party at one of the houses that was incredible...dance party on the first floor, and on the top jello shots, sake bombing, margaritas, kegs everywhere, etc. And this was at one of the frats that is not really considered "top tier". Then I've been to parties at one of the frats that is considered "top tier" that was a complete sausage fest, there were barely any girls and limited alcohol. I've had no problems so far, just know the pledges and make the connections, and bring lots of girls, and you'll be fine. The only thing is that it's pretty much impossible for a guy to do the "row crawl" and it seems like all the girls love to hit as many houses as possible. But so far it's still been really fun.

yup. delta chi is in general not top tier, but that party was pretty phat, i tell ya. too bad LAPD and DPS ****ed that night up. the row has its ups and downs.
