What is partying like at Georgetown?? I've heard they have a strict drinking policy and everything. hmm

I heard partys are weak I would love to get feedback on that

to my knowledge, all of the students say quite the opposite.. the motto of lots of the students at georgetown is work hard, party hard.. and everyone says there are always tons of parties to go to..

yeah I think I am wrong... I read this at a review site ************** I think so the info could be fake in fact

yeah those review sites are usually garbage. talk to the students at gtown. i'ev heard good things from a sophmore i've talked to.

students at GAAP said there is almost nothing on campus...but there is A LOT off campus at the upperclassmen/women's places.

There are generally always parties on campus, and people who don't even know you will let you in their party even if you just hear the noise coming from it and don't know anybody throwing the party (an advantage of the non-frat system). And as sophmore year begins and you actually know the people in the apartments and townhouses, life only gets better.

during the orientation week/s can we expect some chronic partying? (please say yes)

I'm all for it, lets make it happen!

Hoya Saxa!

I am an orientation advisor for new student orientation this summer, and let me just tell you, orientation week is one of the biggest **** shows. Everybody comes down to school early and because nobody has classes or work, all people do is throw parties. And people are really welcoming and understanding too, so as long as you avoid the freshman herd (huge packs of people traveling together) you should have no trouble at all finding sick parties.

so when should I arrive to catch this?

In some letter we got, it said that move-in is August 25th or 26th but classes don't start until the 30th. That gives us four or five days.

oh that sounds awesome
