Parties

Hey how are the parties at rice?

there were 4 this weekend for vision. "rythms" was good towards the end if you wanted to dance (no alcohol), the tower party had alcohol and was really crowded, the "willys pub" party was in a pub (of course), so it was just beer and talking, and archi arcs (sp?) was like a dress up type party. they were all good. i rate the parties a 7 out of 10.

Here are some past threads about residential life, parties, and alcohol at Rice:

Interesting threads - thanks for the info.

Parties at rice range from a group of friends playing beer pong to public parties where even people from outside of Rice show up to party. Usually every Thursday, Friday and Saturday there is something going on. The large parties are varied and usually have a theme. Eighties party (dress up in eighties clothes, eighties music), Night of Decadence (NOD; lingerie party; biggest party of the year), Schoolgirls (dress up like a schoolgirl party), Margarittaville (self-explanatory), Mardi Gras (students strip on a stage) Casino Party (gambling with fake money) etc. etc.

coqui, i wonder if i met u there...i was at all the parties this weekend for vision.

maybe, are you black or hispanic?

Ya'll are full of bull.

say what?.............

Umm, okay. That was kind of uncalled for.

hispanic...but im pretty light skinned
what about u

hispanic too.

I thought ya'll were really being silly about having the party thread, but then my usually very serious daughter started talking about them. Best of luck and good sense) and enjoy! No bull.

thanks?!..i guess.

I had a dream about Rice last night. I stood in line for lunch, and when I got to the front the president (looking like a pretty big jerk) ladeled me some beans and charged me $50. Later, I went to a rock concert only to find that I was completely deaf, which I for some reason attributed to my listening to Pavement (a very noisy band).

That's very random. :p

bump................
