<p>You can send the recommendation letters individually, but send the rest (personal info, EC list, essays, etc.) together.</p>

<p>If you do it online you have no way of sending the essay later, unless you upload a document as an “essay” that’s blank or says that you’ll send the essay later…</p>
<p>Yeah, I don’t know how to do that. I guess you’d have to do a paper application and send the essay separately. If I were you, I’d just send the whole thing together. It’s easier.</p>
<p>^That’s what I wanted to do but they said to get the basic information in as quickly as possible since interviews are on a first come first served basis.</p>
<p>I’m not sure, but they may be referring to an additional essay on each college’s supplement (if they have one). You can send the Common App before you send the supplement.</p>

<p>You should probably just e-mail the college admissions office.</p>
