I was just wondering which (if any) of NYU's dorms is considered to be the party dorm, or the place to be?

well, weinstein is definitely a more social dorm than the others, but thats mainly because their rooms are so tiny that everyone hangs out in the halls, whereas at brittany (where i live) the rooms are so huge that we never have a reason to hang out in the hall. also, weinstein has the 2 most popular dinning halls in their building. besides that, no other dorms stands out as the "party" dorm. it all depends on the people living there.

Hayden is the most requested freshmen dorm, I live there and it is awesome. The rooms are pretty big with awesome views, we have 17 floors, a dining hall that makes awesome pancakes and the best dining hall staff ever, good RAs and plenty of fun people to hang out with. I highly recommend it.

i'm in the middle of ranking my dorm preferences, and I'm stuck on which to rank higher- brittany or weinstein. i'm taking it that brittany has the better rooms, but does not having ac ever bother you? also, does "most popular dining halls" mean best? I'm confused... any help would be great.

How is University Hall?

I'm torn between Rubin, UHall, and Hayden.

Uhall because it's apartment style.

Hayden because it's close and in the middle of everything.

Rubin because they supposedly have large rooms. and are on 5th avenue, which sounds cool =]

I heard Brittany has either really small rooms or really big rooms and it's rather random which kind u get.

Did RD kids get the housing preferences paper yet?

I wanna dorm with a friend so when and where do i get to write that down?
