Party scene at villanova?

Even though I really value academics and studies etc...i cant see myself going to a college where everynight would be boring and stuff...i know villanova is roman-catholic affiliated so i am wondering if that hinders the party life and alcohol etc.. basically-do people party in their dorms and have a good time?

helpppp thanks!

Yeah, because no Catholic ever parties or has fun...

our school's name for it is Villa nofun, a cousin of mine graduated several years ago from there, he said once it went dry, so did the atmosphere, though have no clear proof that is true or not, just heresay. He was comparing it from what it was like when he went to what he has heard now.

I spent 2 weeks there over a summer, not much around it within reasonable distance, though train to Phila is right there, nearest stores I saw were not a reasonable walking distance.

To clear a few of the discrepancies up here, Villanova's campus is not dry, those who are 21 can keep alcohol on campus. And of course there are parties, its a college campus. Although there are no "official" frat houses and the like, there are houses where a bunch of guys who just so happen to be in the same frat live who just so happen to throw parties at those same houses. Honestly Villanova's social scene is not a concern in the least. I've heard the Villanofun moniker so many times, it's gotten quite old. Additionally spending time during the summer on a college campus is absolutely nothing like being there during the year considering most students go home over the summer.
