party scenes? help me outtt

so i'm gonna be visiting colleges soon, and i have my list narrowed down to my favorite schools. and no, i don't want to go to college just to party. i definitely am looking forward to getting a great education while having a crazy fun experience at the same time. no one wants to go to college to find out that it's not gonna be any fun.

so..how are the party scenes at the following schools:

-Penn State
-Rutgers
-University of Maryland
-Temple University
-Clemson University
-University of Wisconsin
-University of Pittsburgh
-Syracuse University
-Villanova
-St. Joseph's (Philadelphia)
-SUNY Binghamton

thanks so much =)

people in wisconsin are a bunch of party animals, I tell you what

Pensacola ftw.

Penn state is undisputed.

Playboy ranks party schools but refused to put Penn state anywhere on/ near the list because they felt that they would be comparing “professional” party kids (penn state people) with “amateurs.”

This seals the topic. its from PLAYBOY, prestigious with the correct amount of controversy.

“Playboy ranks party schools but refused to put “insert college name here” anywhere on/ near the list because they felt that they would be comparing “professional” party kids (“insert college name here” people) with “amateurs.””

People have been spreading that about various schools (I’ve heard WVU the most often) but it doesn’t make it any more true.

parties are everywhere

most if not all of the schools you listed are pretty good party schools. Haven’t heard anything about SUNY Binghampton or St. Joseph’s though.

I’d say it depends a lot more on the type of person you are than the school itself. All schools have parties. You just have to know where to look.

-Penn State: Absolutely insane.
-Temple University: We have a pretty good scene. Relaxed, frats if you want, house parties if you dont. Less intense and more personal than PSU and Pitt.
-University of Pittsburgh: Between Temple and PSU. Less less less crazy than PSU, but more crazy than Temple.
-Villanova: Party scene nonexistent
-St. Joseph’s (Philadelphia): Party scene especially nonexistent

Villanova isn’t party scene nonexistent… lol

It’s unbelievable how biased you are against the other Big 5 schools. I’ve seen it in all of your other posts.

You will find parties at virtually every school you go to, it’s just a matter of where you look. Most of the time, they will be frat parties or sometimes off-campus, but there are parties.

There are parties everywhere.

***** is “u-n-i-g-o”

I’d go to Wisconsin or Penn State for parties.

Maryland is alright, but I never got the impression that it is as good as the best party schools in the country.

Clemson is pretty *****in fun, plus its the only school on your list in the South :)

please tell me your username isnt named after that gay song

thanks guys
BUMPPPPP

-Penn State
-Rutgers
-University of Maryland
-Clemson University
-University of Wisconsin

…
don’t know for sure about the other schools on your list, but these are all schools with a national reputation for having heavy party scenes.

Yes, yes it is. There’s a reason it’s restricted to crappy Main Line bars…

I have a bunch of friends at Rutgers now… if you’re looking for a party, you can definitely find it. But its not like so crazy that you can’t avoid it. I have one friend who goes out to parties all the time, one friend who mostly just drinks with his friends in his rooms and smokes, and one friend who doesn’t really drink much, like once a month tops. And all three of them are friends. Hope that helps.
