it is
but out of 35k undergrads, not every single one of them parties every night. you can avoid it if you’re so inclined.

As with most state schools, there will be be people who “party hard,” those who don’t party at all, and people in between.

*as with ANY school

It’s whatever you want it to be

Playboy put U Miami #1 and UF #4.

April 2006: UF is a party school- UCLA is NOT
Jan 2007: UF is a party school- Ohio State is NOT

National Championships tend to perpetuate partying.
Notice how FSU has plummeted off these lists.

i totally agree with xNYer. when you win things there are gonna be parties.

I don’t understand how they rank the school based on partying. Who can say that UF is a bigger party school than UGA, Ole Miss, Alabama, Texas, or vice versa. Obviously, if you ask me whether MIT or UF is the bigger party school, the answer is UF. Not surprised southern schools make the top spots. We’re a lot more sociable down here, and Southerners like to have a good time. Plus, the very involved frats and sororities add to this.
