I know FSU is known as party school. And I also know that people say that you can still fit in if you don't drink, you just have to find the right crowd. But I can't help but feel that some people just say this. Can one fit in at FSU without ever going to a party? I am visiting soon, but I was just hoping if I could get some truth on the social life at FSU. Thanks in advance!

You commie.

The thing I love about fsu is that there are so many people, anyone can find a group of people with whom they fit in. I personally don’t like going out all that often, and I have a group of friends with whom I can hang out inside or around campus most nights. But when I do get the urge to go clubbing or go to a house party, I have some other friends (and some of the same) who go with me. There are tonsss of people at fsu, you’ll find friends who like all different things! Don’t worry :]

this is true about every college. not everyone parties, despite the rep. there are different kinds of people in college. i think FSU has about 40 thousand people. so you aren’t going to find strictly partiers. i am not big on it either, and i know a lot of other students who aren’t. there are lots of other things to do besides going out if you’re not into it :)

I’m a social person myself, but while I visited, there seemed to be a ton of other stuff going on other than partying, even met some people who stayed away from that type of scene and still had a blast. Also, Sophie is right. 40K people, it truly feels like a small city of people your age, its awesome.
