How's the party at NYU? I mean of course every school has parties and all, but do you guys party often? weekend? school party? club party?

i drink and i smoke every ****ing day

^ That's gotta be healthy.

its ****ty. i'm a freshmen here now, and after the first month of school all of the parties stopped. i hate it, transferring out next semester.

i'm just wondering..which dorm are you in?

i heard they have a 420 delivery service
yayyy

haha... Marc, you are too funny.

Well. I am not a student there, but I want to be ;)

From what I have heard from people who are there now, or who have recently graduated is that the party scene is pretty big, but it isnt your traditional party scene. Kids aren't having keggers in basements of frats. It is more like going clubbing and I have heard that there is a lot of pre-gaming.

are you serious? haven't you heard of the big warehouse party this thursday? some of my friends and I are renting out this huge warehouse in brooklyn and throwing a party there. It was a ****ing blast last time and is going to be even better this time. look it up on facebook and RSVP for it. the name of the event is "Last Chance"

peteyflow, if we both end up getting accepted/going to nyu... we'll throw parties and get **** started if it isnt!

count me in???? lol

ppl are telling me that Stern students rarely party
and they go to classes in black suits because they have internship hours inbetween classes
and they dont' really hang around w/ other NYU college ppl
and they are all so competitive, even between the closest friends..

but I hope it's not true for everyone there
the reason i've applied to NYU is
65% the academic experience
30% the entertainment
5% shopping

btw, mmmflyaway, i hated you for about 1 minute when i saw ur post about posponed decisions :P i thought i'd have a heart attack if it were really true. I'd hate to write all the RD supplements and then hear that it was in vain (if i was accepted)...

mind you, school pretty much ends for the majority of us next weekend... and what does that entail? FINALS OF COURSE

to loving

i hope thats not true
if i get into stern i definitely wont be like that

lovingscm is right. All of the people I know who go there have said the same thing, and the one student who I know at Stern is like that.

i guess ill be different...
lol

Awesome! If you go to stern, it isnt like you will only interact with stern people, so dont worry about it.

Yea I donno if ppl are telling me just to scare me or sth,
but then it seems to be pretty much true. sad.

I was really hoping my no-social-life-senior-year would be compensated by the first year of college...

it totally can be if you want it to be. Next year, you will be calling the shots.
