Partying 101

I know that UDel is notorious for being a party school. I have also heard that the kids only concern themselves with partying and do not care about their academics. This is holding me back considering UDel… Is it as party-hard as it is known for?

What you heard is ridiculous. This has been addressed on previous threads on this board.

Your college education (no matter where you go) is what you make of it. I have two sons who are current students at UD - both in a fraternity. Although they have fun, both also value their academics. Both are Dean’s List students - my junior finance/accounting major has a summer internship already at EY and worked at JP Morgan last summer. My other son is pre-PT/exercise science. You can find a party if you want one or a quiet place to study (love George Reed for the Bio student). It’s all about balance. Good luck to you wherever you choose!
