Partying?

Ok or not? Go

CCers don’t party.

In reality, I’m sure some do, but I’d say 99.9999% don’t do any hardcore partying.

Anyhow, I see nothing wrong with partying, but once it gets to the illegal point/really loud parties that disturb the neighbors, then it’s an issue. It’s also an issue if you party too much and it starts affecting your grades.

I party super hard

Do y’all think there is a direct connection between grades and partying? It’s odd, at my school many of the very top applicants go hard, we’re a crazy but studious bunch

I’m really introverted, so I don’t like it.

I don’t think there’s any correlation. Lots of idiots party, lots of smart people don’t, and vice versa.

I think the seemingly false stereotype that many place on high school students that “partying=going no where” only weakens the argument against such behavior especially once realizing its shockingly untrue

As you mentioned, it’s more of a personality difference, not one of test scores, GPA, ect

High school parties = Suck. (unless you have some good connections)

Completely agree, but there oddly fun like all that happens is bp with cheap natty, hookups, and the occasional entertainment from that one girl that can’t seem to pull it together

Party… you mean like AP Chem study party?

Precisely, but only if you manage to get an A on the exam( clearly didnt go hard enough if you only earn a B)

Yeah, but only once every few months. And no drinking (but that’s a religious thing, so… )

How is y’all’s party scene? It’s really exclusive at my hs(not in a pretentious or cocky way but all the gatherings are under 25 people), are the parents chill? I’m just always so curious on how this all works in different parts of the country

The parties I go to don’t really fit the stereotype for hardcore partying. Sure, we get tipsy and play music (generally in better taste than the crap associated with popular radio stations), but for the most part, everyone is just really chill.

Usually it’s kind of funny because it tends to be “trap music”(chief keef, ASAP rocky ect) where I’m from, but these kids are certainly not from the trap

I party if there’s cake.

Seriously speaking, I have never “partied” nor do I ever plan on doing so. There are plenty of other less sweat / vomit inducing ways to socialize.

I never get invited (well, once but it was only because I walked by and someone thought they should out of pity), so idk exactly. Wouldn’t do it, though. Way too many kids at my school who are too into it

University of Miami provides a nice blend of academia (44th USNews and climbing, great: business especially international, law, marine biology, decent medical school) and an awesome party scene, not to mention beautiful weather. Canes 2018!

We from da trap, we listen to trap music
Parents are chill about it
Anybody can come to the parties

I want to attend UMiami but I’m from va so UVa is naturally my number 1! True at my hs most kids either really want to party or do maybe twice a month and the vomiting well it happens lol
