applying from a decent liberal arts college for spring semester
hoping to apply to emory, barnard, nyu, cornell, tulane
i have a 3.77 currently; I have 4 A’s, 2 A-'s, one B, and the class i took pass/fail (a total of 33 credits)
i also took a 200 level class at a local college over the summer (indicated on transcript but not factored into gpa) , which i received an A in.
will this affect my transfer application?
You would need to ask all those colleges to see how they would evaluate a pass/fail course.
It is typical that grades from courses taken at other colleges come in a P/F. You will need to send the local college transcript to each college you apply to as well as the transcript from your current college. Every college will evaluate your transcripts/coursework as it sees fit – just like with HS transcripts, there is no one answer for every college.
