Current freshman science major at georgia tech, but would like to transfer to more LAC-based school like Vanderbilt, Columbia, or Amherst to not major in science. Currently taking 14 hours.
My three options are: I could drop math (linear algebra 2 hour class–I have a C in it) and just take 12 hours (I would end up with a 3.67). (There IS a small chance I could get a 4.0 if all I kill myself studying this semester).
Other option: I could keep math, take biology pass/fail, and end up with a 3.6 gpa, keeping the 14 credits. (unless something miraculous happens for math, where i’d end up with an overall 3.8).
Or I could just not do anything and hope for the best!
EC’s: model UN, elections committee, marketing organization, multicultural club
What do you guys think? What option should I go with? I plan on taking at least 15 hours next semester, but GT is very rigorous (you only need a 3.5 to make highest honors!) I don’t know whether a W or a pass/fail looks worse.
Thanks y’all!
