Pass/Fail

I want to take Pre-Calculus Pass/Fail. This basically means that you get a pass or a fail and the class isnt calculated into your gpa. it was meant to help kids take harder classes they might otherwise might not take. I got an A- for the Semester, and I'm doing terrible. I just got a 9/25 on the first quiz we took. My teacher is extremely lazy, and I am as well (at least for math). I dislike math and I don't want to do it. Should I take this pass/fail? keep in mind, colleges prefer an A over a P, but do they prefer a P over a B?

If I saw a P, I would generally assume it's a C-, or whatever the lowest passing grade is. An art class for a non-artist or something would be fine P/F, in my opinion. Precalc, on the other hand, is not.

Work harder. Do your problem sets. Ask the teacher for help. Ask your friends for help. Beg, if it comes to that. Buy a supplementary book to help you or look online or get a tutor. Try your best to keep it at about a B+, and you'll be fine.

Ugh, oh well. I guess I'll have to be a trooper and stick it out. :(

Don't worry. All of us have had classes we've hated or struggled through. Just keep at it, and it will all work out.
