<p>How many p/np or pass fail classes would be too many? My school says that you can take a third of your units p/np, but would law schools look down upon this? What is the maximum number of units or classes do you think is acceptable to take pass fail?</p>

<p>I wouldn’t make a habit of taking P/NP classes, and I would recommend using P/NP only for classes that seem to be a stretch from your comfort zone (e.g. taking an upper level art history class, purely out of interest, when you are an enginering major).</p>
