Pass or Fail

I just wanted to know how UC see pass or fail classes which are not for prereq or igetc.

If they aren't for pre-req or igetc they don't matter.

thats great news, thanks

I don't even think they strictly care for the IGETC, either; I took my language classes P/NP and I was still admitted to both Berkeley (spring) and UCLA.

That doesn't mean go crazy about it, though. :P

How about AP scores? I'm using my AP Calc AB to satisfy the math requirements; will I get penalized in any way for this?

I highly doubt it, as I brought up this issue before. Essentially, you're safe as long as both the college you're transfering to and from accept it as credit.

This poses some slight problems --- notably, some UCs do not credit 3's on the AB exam while some CCC's do. If you major requires Calculus, this will be seen as a hole/prereq not met, according to counselors. (It's the reason I'm retaking it as well.)

I'm a humanities major (English)

if I use APs to satify almost all my haas requirements will I get penalized? :P
