<p>For some courses at Penn you can get credit for them, by taking the final exam of the previous semester at the beginning of your current semester.</p>
<p>Is it possible to do this at Duke? Or are AP tests the only way to get credit?</p>

<p>As far as I know, you cannot get credit for a course if you don’t 1) take it or 2) have AP credit for it</p>
<p>Some departments used to do placement tests where you can place out of classes, but you still don’t get credit for classes that you place out of.</p>
