<p>Why is there 1 waiting if there are 92 available?</p>
<p>SInce the class is pretty large, I’m guessing its not because there are seats reserved for majors. Someone probably had a scheduling conflict or is not sure if they could get into another class, so they waitlisted this one so they would be first on the list and have a good chance of getting in if they needed to.</p>
<p>In order to be placed on a waitlist, do we just need to e-mail the professor? I didn’t see anything on PASS…</p>
<p>They hold spots for freshmen. They only allowed 35 to enroll in the class in the spring.</p>
<p>They also don’t always go first come first served from the waitlist. Last year my son was 8th or 9th on a waitlist and jumped everyone to get the class. They must look at major and who needs to have the class.</p>
