I can’t speak for Bio but I simultaneously studied for APUSH and the USH sat2, and got 5 and 730. I studied for both with the Kaplan subject test book, which was enough for me. I took both tests within a week of each other so it wouldn’t really have made sense to buy two different books with essentially the same material, and study them at the same time.

Thanks Rebecca!!
I really appreciate ure advice!!
Im planning to take the AP in may and the SAT Subject Tests in June

PleASE anyone else reply I would def appreciate everyones advice

I took both APUSH and AP Bio. I got 5’s on both and got 740 in Bio M and a 770 in USH.

I didn’t study for USH apart from the AP prep. I took sample tests on Sparknotes (these tests are a bit harder than the actual thing).

I studied for SATII Bio a little bit apart from the AP, and took sample tests from the Barron’s SAT II.

The AP classes are certainly enough for you to pass the SATIIs.

I would say that studying for the APs would suffice for the SAT Subject tests. I haven’t taken AP Bio or SAT Bio, but the format of their questions and the type of questions they asked might be different, so you want to be comfortable with the types of questions on each tests.

I studied for APUSH using REA 8th Edition and REA Crash Course, and got a 5 and 730.
