"pass" versus a C

what about people with more than 4.0's and want to change a 4.0 class to a pass or fail, thereby making our GPAs higher

ante...

start your own thread please. :)

I am dying with a C on my transcript... which bring my cumulative gpa down to a 3.6 :(

lol sorry....

why should they start their own thread? if they do people will complain about how there is already a thread posted? I'm wondering the same thing as they are.

Why? Because I started a thread that pertained to a C grade, not pertaining to a 4.0.

Ok... nevermind. My issues are trivial.

Post away antemortem.

"Oh... so should I just keep the C?"

does this means he has the option of removing the grade from his transcript?

No... unfortunately I don't. My counselor isn't much help either, saying that there are no alternatives and I ultimately have no choice but to accept the C. I asked whether the P is a better choice, but she said that colleges would rather see a letter grade.

She isn't much of a help, so I was wondering whether she was wrong about the P...

And, because of this C I now have, have my chances dimmed for acceptance to the top 25? (My gpa was a 3.7 before the C, and I got all A's this semester, except for two B's and a C... yeah this is junior year also:()
