So I need to get something better than a C- in an English class for it to count for my major, and I really kinda doubt I did. I'm an English major, so this sucks. If I get a C- or worse, I have to retake the class. Really worried, because grades come out tomorrow.

Anybody else had to retake a course because their grade was too low to count toward their major? I'm just worried. Is this a common thing that happens to most people or am I a loser?

It happens sometimes, but not a lot, and not usually to majors. I see more biology majors struggle with a required chemistry course, for example, than struggle with courses within their major. (By not a lot, I mean maybe 2%.)

I didn’t pass a physics course so now I’m retaking it. No big deal, the professor just really sucked and I didn’t put as much effort as I should have so I’m facing the consequences. Just make sure to retake the class as soon as possible so that it does not interfere with your major classes.
