Performance passes are given at the end of the semester you just completed/the beginning of the next one. you get 5 passes per list that you're on.. with a maximum of 15 (because there are only 3 lists to be on.. lol)

Also, if your upperclassmen like you enough, they can give you five more passes. If they think you are absolutely amazing, you can get ten from them.

We can essentially give you as many as we want (via positive Form 10s, etc) or at least as many as leadership will allow, but I've never heard of this +5/+10 deal...

Oh, I see what you mean mambo. Those aren't given out just if leadership likes you - the excellent/outstanding refers to your OSS score, which is the overall rating of a squadron (GPA, MPA, PEA, marching, community service, PFT scores, etc, etc). Squadrons that perform very well on OSS, i.e. the top few squads in the wing, are the ones that receive those extra passes.

From the CSP, it appears those performance passes are quarterly. Are the OSS designations quarterly whereas the Dean's/Commandant's lists are per semester?
Also, it's specifically noted that performance passes don't expire. How 'bout the baseline passes. If they are not used in the following time period, do they disappear?
Huge thanks to all.

...which is why it's always better to use your basic passes before your performance passes.

And Eagle, OSS designations are per semester as well. Certainly not the easiest system in the world to comprehend, looking back at all these posts. Welcome to USAFA, I guess. ;)

u just rly confused me petko. i saw the eagle reference, and was like, "i haven't even posted here yet!" lol

and OSS/list passes can only be earned each semester, but they still reset with each half the semester. ie, if ur a 3 dig with 10 base passes on one list, you'll get 15 passes to start the year, and it resets to 15 after prog (middle of semester)
