I spend about 16 hours a week on what I consider my "passion," scientific research. What about you guys?

I spend 168 hours a week on what I consider my "passion", doing nothing. :)
I wish I could spend more time on what I like, but how do you balance schoolwork and research? And unfortunately, doing AIME problems can't really be considered my passion, especially since I can only do like 2, lol

I don't do a lot of schoolwork so research is all I have to do.

What do you mean, you "don't do a lot of schoolwork"?

means he's one of those smart kids who doesn't need to do any work to get stellar grades :)
(of course I'm assuming here...)

umm...I don't spend THAT much time on what I like to do (dance)....currently about 7-8 hours a week. I guess I just get caught up in stuff I HAVE to do...

I have two passions, writing and politics, and I spend about 30 hours a week on both combined, I'd say, sometimes more, sometimes less.

i have a passion for eating chicken tikka masala.

nice one, wrath. My passion is playing Halo for like 30 hours a week

Lol, ditto wrath!

I play(ed) halo too chamnam. In 9th-11th grades, I played more halo than I did schoolwork. I have no passion.

i spend like 7 hrs. a week (in art class) on art. then i paint or whatever when i have the time--which is rarely. the summer, however, is a different story (at least it is when i happen to be able to afford my paints.) if i can't, i just draw.
