<p>for the sat "pick the best answer" section, is the right answer ever in the passive voice? can you say empirically that the "best answer" can never be in the passive voice and to always prefer active over passive? has anybody encountered any examples that are acceptable in the passive voice? thanks!</p>
<p>If every answer is in the passive voice, then obviously the right answer is in the passive voice. If answers vary between passive and active voice, then the right answer should always be in the active voice. I can’t think of any counterexamples from Blue Book tests or actual SATs.</p>
