Past AP exams as finals

So I know my bio teacher is using his final exam from the 1990's at least thats what he said..

so does collegeboard release tests from EVERY year, or is it only some particular years?

Because from what ive seen, only 1990, 1994, and 1999 tests were available...

do they release like say a test for 1993 also?? or is it only particular ones

just curious...

they release the free responses every year and mc sometimes at least for AP Physics

so they dont release exams for evey year?

How do I find out more information about this?

lol that’s not too smart on the teachers part…students could easily cheat

lol yeah i know…

so does anyone know the answer to my question?

just look at the collegeboard store for a list of released exams.

i did try over there but the results are very disorganized i get nearly 30 pages of results that are not even all ap bio…perhaps im looking in the wrong place

so… basically u just wanna cheat…

^ well i wouldn’t consider it teaching
the teacher is just stupid
s/he knows that collegeboard sells them to the general public and is certainly is not illegal for a student to buy the test as prep
she shouldn’t have told you the year…

i am almost certain that each year is not released…because they recycle MC questions.

sorry i meant i wouldn’t consider is cheating* lol

No, it’s cheating, unless your teacher actually provided you with the questions beforehand. Just because the teacher is stupid doesn’t makes it right. If he/she left the answer keys on her desk one day, it doesn’t mean you’re justified in taking it.

The test is meant as a gauge of your physics skills, and if you go out of your way to destroy the test’s purpose, then it’s cheating.

@Ray192: Who the hell is going to memorize a decade’s worth of multiple choice? To go over the tests just as anybody would do for an AP is not cheating. If I can prepare, then it’s alright from my point of view. It’s like a teacher telling you a practice test in a book will be the real test, the students (if they aren’t stupid) should study those beforehand.

This is not cheating man.
It’s the teachers fault for not considering it.

Remember kids, its only cheating if you get caught!

No, if you knew where the questions and answers for the test are, and you look at them with the intention of using that knowledge on the test, it is cheating. If the teacher told you “I keep my answer keys in this cabinet” it’s not an invitation for you to take it and use it for “review”, it just means the teacher is stupid.

man whoever wrote that stupid comment about memorizing a decade of multiple choice, is mentally ■■■■■■■■. one doesnt have to memorize the damn thing…just by looking at the questions and reviewing the answers gives an advantage over others in the class…and that is cheating…and i dont care if u cheat, go ahead…

what i have a problem with is u coming and posting on this forum giving us a hint that u are gonna cheat, and asking our help to help u cheat. ■■■■ seriously…

^ well the test and its answers are all over the internet so i personally think that it gives everyone an equal advantage
CB sells the tests legally and its on the net for free…if you don’t take it, your loss
i do see how it’s cheating but in this competitive arena…i can’t really blame someone for trying to get ahead using a known and legal method

To be honest, the thought did cross my mind hence the reason I posted. But ur right, THIS is cheating and I don’t do that. I’d feel guilty forever…I mean I am desperate…who isn’t if they are borderline? However, i’ve opted to not even practice from real ones…its wrong and i know it. PLus i don’t have much time anyways to take more than a couple exams especially considering the fact that I don’t exactly know which ones he is using.

Thanks for the responses anyways!
