Past AP Test

So am I supposed to send past AP scores? On the Admission portal it says it needs the official but I can't find it on collegeboard.

Hey Sprinkknot,

Yes, if the score is 3 or better. Supposedly, if you took any tests this year AND put UCI down to receive the score, then they will send all of your scores from all previous years. That’s what I read on the FB group wall. Cam didn’t put UCI, so I ordered all past scores one year at a time. You can order past year’s scores now via the phone. This year’s scores come out July 1st. Listen carefully to the prompts because they make it sound like last year’s scores are not available right now, but that’s not the case. You will need your AP number, the year of the tests, UCI’s id number and a credit card.

On a side note, what did you put down for your housing choices??

Melissa aka USCMom84

Thanks I guess I’ll wait to call.

And I put down Middle earth, I put “Academic and Career Options” as first, followed by Intellectual Competence and Participate in Civic and Campus Life

Do you guys know what to do if we lost the ap number from the year we took the test? I have this years ap number but not the one from the aps I took junior year. When I report this years scores, will they send the old ones too? Thanks (:

I was under the impression that we have the same number each year. Hopefully because we put UCI on this year’s tests they will send our old ones, but we can’t know until we get this year’s tests back.

I didn’t put uci on my test scores because I was waitlisted to another school. I don’t think we have the same number each year either /: anyone know if they’ll send my old scores if I just give them my name and test year?

If you call to send your ap scores, they will ask for your old ap score number or your social security number so you should be fine. You are right about the ap number being different each year; the student packs are suppose to be given at complete random.

i can’t seem to get past the whole “get back to us on july 1st to send scores” in order to send scores. am i doing something wrong? stares

I only put UCI down on one of the AP test scantrons. Every other test I left it blank because we apparently didn’t need to fill it out again.

I just tried the number to check and see what is says. You’re right. You now have to wait until July 1st. I got the previous year scores back in May. When I called I had to provide the AP id#, year, UCI id#, and a credit card. Since I wanted to report 2009 and 2010, I had to make two separate calls at $8.00 each!! I guess the system is being updated and they won’t have it back online until the first of July?!??!!

just for future reference of others that are concerned: there’s a rush order option, giving 2 days for processing instead of a week. for a fee of $25. from july 1st to july 15th, i’m fairly certain UCI will receive it by then.

According to UCI, we have to request each individual year. But the score reports that collegeboard sends usually includes scores from all the tests you’ve taken, not just the most recent scores.
Is it really necessary to request & pay for all those years? I know that $15/$25 isn’t much. But I have a twin sister & costs do add up for us.
Also, our transcript includes AP scores. Would that be considered “official” coming from the school?

No,ap scores not official from collegeboard aren’t considered ‘official’ I asked them when I called to make sure my transcript was received.

Will they send all the scores if I only filled out one of the scantron?

Frenchfries11: I don’t think anyone likes that question.
I am trying to convince myself though that they well send all the scores because that’s how the score reports have always come out. But really, nothing is for sure until I see my scores online.
