past deadline

I was wondering if anyone has applied to transfer past the deadline?
A few weeks ago I decided not to submit my application but have regretted that decision. I email the school I want to apply to and explained the situation and asked if it would be possible to submit my application late and still be considered (i figure they haven't started reviewing them yet and are probably finishing up filing all of the applications).

I still haven't heard back ( i emailed them this morning) but i'm sending everything except the application fee anyway incase they do allow me to submit it late. That way it'll be there if they decide it's okay.

Has anyone ever sent in an application this late and still had it reviewed?

Like everything else it depends upon the school.

Some schools will not accept any late applications (for example, most of the University of Calfornia campuses), some will accept them, but only consider them if there is still space available (for example, Emory), and other schools will consider them as long as they are received by the time they get around to looking at the other transfer applications (a lot of the midwest colleges do this). Even other schools will accept them if there is space in the major you are applying for.

Just send your application and see what happens. (Also, if you really want to get them to be looked at, consider applying for a less popular major)

thanks..i ended up getting a response to my email and they said i still have about two weeks if i want to apply. i guess that is probably when they start reviewing applications.
