since ninjacourses doesn't have past exams anymore, i'm just wondering where do people get past midterms/finals to practice and study?

For EECS, hkn has a nice stash of old exams online. Other departments, I have no idea.

EECS: HKN, TBP
Physical Science: TBP
IEOR, Engineering: IIE
Other Dept: kufers (replace the u with two o’s and google it),
or make friends with upperclassmen, flirt the GSIs, etc.

No kidding. Actually the last two work in every department

You can use the search box at [University of California, Berkeley](http://www.berkeley.edu) to search for “[department] [course number] final exam”.

For math, look here: [Exams | Department of Mathematics at University of California Berkeley](Exams | Department of Mathematics at University of California Berkeley)

Here are the HKN and TBP web sites:

https://hkn.eecs.berkeley.edu/

https://tbp.berkeley.edu/students/exams/

So what happened with NinjaCourses :(? This happened once in the past, but it was resolved fairly quickly. So is this removal permanent?

I won’t say more. Figure it out from there. Asking someone who was an officer at TBP last semester would be one way to start.

^I suppose he was the one who complained to ninjacourses?

Is it illegal to post past exams anyways? I know some professors keep mentioning that the university requires them to sign some form to release their rights on all the materials for the course (e.g. syllabus, assignments). I assume the university has the right to request the removal of those exams :(?

Some departments obviously don’t mind – the math department has old exams on its own web site.
