<p>I've been waiting anxiously for the past couple of days for my appeals; however, I have recieved nothing from UCI or UCLA. It is May 4th, three days past the SIR deadline and I don't know whats going on. =( Two of my friends who appealed already got rejected from UCI, but again, I didn't get anything at all. Any ideas?</p>

<p>well,... either you get it in or you dont, so seeing how other ppl have been rejected allready, i wouldnt worry too much</p>
<p>The release of appeals is to the UC's disgression. Appealing is a 2nd chance and 2nd chances aren't supposed to be so lenient so they aren't working particularly promptly/hard on these appeals. However, if you haven't gotten a word yet, it only means a good thing.</p>
<p>how does it only mean a good thing?</p>

<li><p>they might've not looked at your appeal yet so your chances stay the same as it did the second you submitted an appeal</p></li>
<li><p>if they did look at it, then they are holding back until they are ready to accept you. many others have been rejected already.</p></li>

<p>its been a whole week now, wonder what theyre up to. still waiting...should i call them up? should i be rushing them?</p>
