Past the deadline?!

I'm much lazier than a regular last-minute

I was able to submit the Part1 and Part2 before Jan1

But other stuff I couldn't get them done because of summer break

Should I bother to ask teachers/counselors to fill the stuff out now?

Do they accept the late ones past the deadline?
(kind of make me think what deadline means... pass the line=dead -_-;)

I really don't think I have a good chance, but I don't want to wonder if I was in the future

Get that stuff in as soon as you can. :)

If a teacher sends their form a few days late, it shouldn't be a big problem. It's very good that you got Parts 1 and 2 in before the deadline - that shows that you did your part.

Don't be the one to reject yourself. At least send in the application and take it from there. It's not too late, and as long as it arrives within the next few weeks, they should read your application anyway.

turn it in and see what happens, couldn't hurt

Send it in - it probably won't make a difference since it's gonna take them a month or so to process all the mail anyway.

Dont worry, a boy at oxford now, last year submitted his MIT app on 21st, his application was accepted but he was rejected....

You have only got the references while he did everything on 21st....

21st January i mean :)

I dunno if you're still pondering on it, but for future reference anyway, I turned my application in on the last day, but all my high school and college transcripts like two weeks later. I got in anyway. They say they don't really mind. I asked Lorelle (admissions rep) before I sent in the transcripts.

hey,
if a guy here sends his app on 12/31, it'll arrive on ~1/20. if you do everything in 2-4 days and send, your materials will come sooner than, those of that guy...

I guess since the recs are up to the teachers, they wont blame you for it.
