Past transfer experiences???

Does anyone have any experience or is thinking about transferrring in the spring of their junior year. Would courses counting towards my major transfer?

I wanted to transfer this fall, but things fell through with the lone school I applied and was accepted to (USC).

I was thinking possibly LMU or Santa Clara, maybe another school in the California area.

Any input would be great. Thanks

what went wrong with usc?

Hey BTW congrats on USC hobo. Way to stick it to those UCs.

haha thanks a lot!!... right now i'm worried about graduating in a reasonable time.. usc ain't cheap :)

basically the money... it was just way out of my league... i thought i would get a lot more financial aid... plus i want to go to grad school and i felt that the marshall curve would end up hurting my gpa in the long run...

if you have any advice... all is appreciated... thanks.

AHA! someone agrees with me a/b the long-term effects of the marshall curve. that's what keeps me from applying to USC.

what is the marshall curve?

the average in each class within Marshall must be a 2.8...I think that's right. So there are typically 4 or 5 A's I'm guessing. And just as with Boston University, few people care a/b the difficulty of getting an A at Marshall. So those intending on going to grad school will be working much harder than kids at Harvard/Princeton etc.

that sucks...

ya and i had been on the usc sites since november and i didn't find out about the curve until july on here. usc seems to keep it somewhat of a secret, which i really didn't like.

so... any advice on me possibly transferring during the winter of my junior year?
