Okay, please don't lecture me for being a wuss.
I recently re-enrolled in college after taking a few years off, and I am just starting to discern what the best fit is for me career-wise.
Direct patient care would help me, obviously, in the discernment department and also because many (medical and allied-health) schools want applicants to have the experience, as you likely know.
But where I live the only opportunities I'm aware of for such experience with little to no training are as nursing assistants. Nursing assistants tend to do quite a bit of heavy lifting, so I was wondering if anyone knows of any possible alternatives I may not have thought to look into. Thanks.
