"Pay Enrollment Confirmation Fee"?

Ok, so I have not checked my Agora portal in a couple weeks. Underneath “Account and Personal Info” there is a link that says “Pay Enrollment Confirmation Fee”. However, it leads to a page with a list of required documents.

I can’t remember, but has this always been there or does it mean I got in?

no that hasn’t always been there…that has got to mean you’re in, congrats!

I know in the past the appearance of a new button related to acceptance has been a reliable indicator, so it’s definitely a good sign. But I wouldn’t say conclusive. Don’t think it usually happens before letters have been mailed.

Wait, I’ve got the link too. Does anyone not have it?

the link is not there for me.

dammit…

This stinks. I have like a 3.88 UW and a 2220 SAT. I thought I was in range of BC.

i don’t have it either…does anyone know if in past years the tabs would go up at the same time or periodically?

Don’t jump to conclusions. Maybe BC is sending out some early notifications, as many schools do, and the link is just appearing those few. We’ll know soon.

Hey if it is any indicator (I hope it is  ) then I wouldn’t worry. I should have mentioned that I live in MA so I might be one of the first?

check back tomorrow to see if the link is still active. (If so, trying paying the bill!)

BC has antiquated, and I mean antiquated systems, which the College updates/syncs over the weekends. Sometimes the systems open and close ports (seemingly to you) randomly.

(One late night – west coast time – a few years ago, I was able to access The College’s internal systems, behind the firewall, including staff and student direct e-mails. I haven’t the faintest idea how I got there, but the next day morning access was gone.)

Good luck.

@unsure2016…if you don’t mind me asking, what are your stats?

Not there for D either (4.38 W/3.89 UW ACT 31 - all the other subjective stuff as it should be). Who knows what it means if anything.

I’m not getting my hopes up. I won’t believe anything until I see it. I HOPE it means something (for me) but I’m just going to wait and see.

Ahh I dont have it either
2090, 3.8

@op

is the button still there?

also, can anyone else confirm of seeing this button?

^^^My DD also had the button all weekend and it is still present today. (Checked after OP posted.) I have no idea what it may mean. It does not lead to a payment screen yet; just back to the application status page.

@Unsure2016 D got in EA and here is what I see when I click on the, “Pay Enrollment Confirmation Fee” and the “Applicant Status” links. It takes me to a page that says the following:

Student Name ########## (EagleID)

If you have not previously submitted your non-refundable Enrollment Confirmation and Housing Guarantee fees, please click here to do so.

If you would like to withdraw your admission, please submit the Admission Withdrawal Form.

If you would like to postpone your enrollment, please submit the Admission Deferment Request.

Hey EllexInc:

The button is still there for me. As DayLily said, however, it just goes to the application status page.

I also have a financial aid link (didn’t apply for it) that I did not mention in the OP.
