PAY TO SEND MY ACT SCORES?!?! (newbie)

<p>I took the ACT for the first time on June 8th, I just got my scores today and I want to send my scores to my colleges, but they're making me pay $11, per school??? Since when is this a thing?!</p>

<p>The SAT let me send them free of charge. I know if you wait to long to send the SAT scores THATS when they charge ya, but I literally just checked my ACT scores... why do i have to pay? (I'm new to the ACT) so idk... does this happen to everyone?</p>

<p>You just missed the time range that you can choose 4 schools to submit score for free. It is the same case for SAT. For both test, the deadline is about at the mid point between the test date and the scores. There is nothing new or special about it. None of them would let you decide after the score is out.</p>
