I am an international student applying to Howard for EA via Commonapp. I have a fee waiver which I mentioned in Commonapp but Howard doesn’t accept fee waiver. So while submitting Commonapp I don’t see payment option. How do I pay $45 application fees?
I took my ACT test on October and I am not happy with my performance. I will be re taking in Dec. So if I get accepted in EA and my ACT increases in Dec, can I ask for more aid then or do I have to apply for RD?
Thank you!
Not sure about the first half of your question but as far as the ACT goes, you don’t have to apply RD. There were plenty of people last year who were accepted early action, then submitted updated test scores and received additional aid. I’m assuming you’re referring to the merit scholarships.
thank you @mtjones1 … I was…
There are new requirements for the Merit Scholarship. You may want to check it out. They are ranked Tier I through IV.
I know for Tier IV you have to have at least a 3.25 GPA and at least at 28 on the ACT or at least a 1250 on you SAT (Math and Reading). For info on the rest you may want to call Admissions as the info hasn’t been updated on the website yet.
