<p>Are any of you or your friends paying for your WashU education independently, and how? How helpful is the Financial Aid Office with regards to students who are independent?</p>
<p>If you feel like you didn't receive enough financial aid, contact Bill</a> Witbrodt, and there's a good chance that he will give you a better financial aid package.</p>
<p>Is that really true? I talked to my own financial guy and he said that we weren't eligible for any financial sid.</p>
<p>You can persuade him if you say that you will go to WashU, but only if you get more money. This is the head guy - the financial aid person you're assigned to is just someone that works under him.</p>
