<p>How do most out of state students plan to/ have payed for an education at this University?
The way I figure it, unless I get both the lowest value scholarships in both the morrill and maximus competition or one of these scholarships and money from the engineering department, I’m probably going to an instate school.</p>
<p>Many out-of-state students I know have a combination of various scholarships that greatly help pay the tuition.</p>
<p>Otherwise, it’s your typical mix of student loans, parents’ help, summer jobs, working during the school year, etc.</p>
<p>I’ll be honest, from what I’ve heard OSU’s office of Financial Aid and need-based aid is merely OK, not outstanding.</p>
