Paying for School

So today was the day, my college sent me my financial aid package. The school is $16k a year, i got $3500 from the school through stafford loans. My question: Where do i get $13k? My family isn't exactly in a position to shell out much more than 5 or 6k and i need some help. The parent PLUS loans...how much can i get? Scholarships are out of the question because i doubt ill get any and what other ways can i get money for school?

get a job, if your parents pay 5,000 that leaves 8,000 left. With a summer job you could make 2,000 -3,000 dollars which would leave 5,000 left. Which you could pay most of it off with a part time job during college which would leave a grand or two for loans. So you would only be 5,000-10,000 in debt after graduating which is a reasonable amount. These are just estimates I have no idea about your situation.

TomA,
I would suggest contacting the FA office of the school. They will give you information on parent plus loans to close the gap.
Good Luck!
