Paying Full Price?

Is anybody here planning on going to USC and paying full price? I'm torn right now between UCSD and USC. The tuition at USC is really high-- I don't think it's something I'm comfortable making my parents pay. I'm applying for some scholarships, but I don't qualify for financial aid... which really sucks.

Anybody? Would there be any chance of me getting a scholarship my second year or something?

I would personally choose USC over UCSD. USC has the best of both worlds although UCSD is great academically as well. CHeck out the schools and see if it's worth the money for USC. I think that you can probably qualify to get some scholarship every year of college. I doubt that you can't get any after you've started college.

Here, almost, minus $4,000 a year Trojan Scholarship. It's worth the money since he's in film school. He's doing well academically and socially. He was accepted to our state flagship, UVA. We has the pre-paid tuition plan so basically one year at USC equals four years at UVA.

Is it worth the money if you're not in one of USC's world-class programs? Hard decision.

I don't qualify for financial aid either. What scholarships are you applying for, and how did you find them?

Would you consider engineering (Viterbi) one of USC's world-class programs?

ID also appreciate some advice on this topic! I want to go, but basically i have NO MONEY (i got in in feb, and im bac md interviewee)... im out of state, and my instate tuition for UW would be 4500 a year, but if i went to USC id be loaning an entire 45k a year I REALLY WANNA GO, but is having to loan out my soul too much?

I'm in the same situation. i dont qualify for finaid but i have received the presidential scholarship. but it's not the same as trustee and and i still have to pay a LOT. after deducting my parents' contribuion, i think i may have to pull out a loan of close to 20k a year. hopefully, i'll get a good job so i can pay back the loan.

You can apply to scholarsips every year. Watch dates and Use Fastweb. It is really helpful.
