Paying the BAR

<p>I'm wondering if we can pay in part for our BAR balance, e.g. if I owe $2275, can I go ahead and pay $1000 only, and pay off the rest later (of course by 9/20).</p>

<p>^ This is because I get a 2% cashback thing on my credit card, so if I pay by credit card first then get disbursement of financial aid, I'll be able to get 2% back from credit card and get the refunded money from BruinDirect :]</p>

<p>Also, where is the payment website? I logged into the URSA BAR, and it only lets you view your balance, couldn't find any links prompting payment or anything...</p>

<p>BAR --> Student Account --> Make Payment (bottom of screen) </p>

<p>Yeah, you don't have to pay the whole thing right now... but yes by the 20th.</p>

<p>After BAR --> Student Account, I see no button that says "Make Payment".</p>

<p>Does this have to do with why it says "Maximum credit card payment allowed: $0.00"</p>

<p>Yes. That means you have nothing to pay. Otherwise, "make payment" would appear.</p>

<p>umm, theres a maximum credit card payment. it only lets you pay what is not covered by financial aid. so if your fin aid is going to cover everything, it wont let you pay.</p>

<p>Also, financial aid will be updated sept 17 so if you pay now you might get a refund...or you can wait until 9/17 to find out what you REALLY have to pay.</p>
