my parents and i are doing that whole sallie mae pay your tuition in 10 (or 12) months thing, which meant that we had to put an estimate on how much we thought the tuition was going to be way back in may (of 08).

thing is, at that time, my parents thought that i'd be eating 14 meals a week, despite the fact that i told them that it would be too much, and put that amount down. now, i've finally convinced my parents into changing my meal plan down to 10 a week (even though THAT is still too much).

so my question is this: will cornell reimburse us with the additional amount? it's not a HUGE difference (~$200 or so, but i could definitely buy a couple of textbooks with that amount of money). and how will they do it? i don't even know how the whole system works.
